The road to St Boswells via Maxton is closed. Water is over the road by the showground. Water is also in the hut at the Junction pool and the boats have been moved onto the point to point course for safety.

Kelso cauld (weir) has been flattened by the flood. This picture looks along the cauld. The promontory in the river is 'The Putt' which is normally about 8 feet above river level.
Looking along 'The Cobby' riverside park from our windows. The park is completely flooded as are some of the gardens of houses a few hundred yards upriver.
The island by the junction pool  ('The Anna') is completely flooded. From here it appears the the boatman from Lower Floors fishings has water in his basement - Ian lives in the cottage by Teviot bridge.
